I'm sure no one cares, but Nintendo's new console is pretty sleek:

<a href='http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/09/15/screens_6133335.html?page=3' target='_blank'>http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/09/15/sc...335.html?page=3</a>
<a href='http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/09/15/screens_6133335.html?page=4' target='_blank'>http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/09/15/sc...335.html?page=4</a>

Yes, that's right; a remote. A modular remote. The console should be able to play every game from every nintendo system since the NES.

I want one.

That is crazy! But it does look pretty intruiging. I'm actually looking forward to seeing what it can do, and I totally agree with Mr Iwata saying that gaming has moved on so fast as to scare off newcomers.

<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>At all events when, after many hours, the door was opened and people thronged in, they found the murderer unconscious and in a raging fever. The prince was sitting by him, motionless, and each time that the sick man gave a laugh, or a shout, he hastened to pass his own trembling hand over his companion's hair and cheeks, as though trying to soothe and quiet him. But alas he understood nothing of what was said to him, and recognized none of those who surrounded him.</span>

That was interesting, scary depressing and funny.
Wonderful idea, and some of it was extremely uplifting.
Cheers for sharing that!

I do quite adore that site. Tons of wonderful/depressing one-liners, and great art.

sorry for the double post.

uuuhhh....i guess i'm no one then, because i'm interested and caught the same news, read up on it, thought about the new technology, and was amazed and intrigued.

i'm a nut for good video games, good platforms, and innovative new technology. very cool stuff, i'm sure i'll get to see/play with one when they come out here in the states. i'd love to whip that remote around in a FPS light sabre duel <!--emo&-->Image<!--endemo--> <!--emo&B)-->Image<!--endemo-->

In that case, it may also be good to know that 3rd Parties who had previously stated they wouldn't work on the N5 are now signing on because of the innovation.

I can't wait.

you might want to hit the www link on my line hadji, it's the website for the website of the video gaming club i sponsor as a college faculty. any post you see by "reaper" (or reaper21x, or any variation thereof) know this: he's our current club president and the second best video gamer our club has ever seen, except for fatal1ty who visited us a couple years back.

and now for something completely different, a man with three buttocks...

Create a <a href='http://grant.robinson.name/projects/montage-a-google/' target='_blank'>montage</a>....

tip: be very creative in your use of words as you do a search, example: Morrissey album covers, instead of just Morrissey.

Spent my afternoon going through some fabulous photos - the big photography fan that I am. I really like the works of this guy:
