I'm 21...and I'm another person from Sydney.
Some of my friends recommended the Smiths, and a few months ago I picked up Hatful of Hollow, but I just didn't bother to give it a decent time to listen to.
However I was listening on the train home one day, and then I said to myself "Oh fuck...his singing about me!" and the rest they say is history...
my favs:
William, it was really nothing
How Soon is now
Heaven Knows I'm miserable now
This night has opened my eyes
You've got everything now
Hand in Glove
This Charming Man
Been addicted to The Smiths for the past month and I don't think it will end.
I now believe other bands just aren't saying enough to us about OUR lives. This is where The Smiths have succeeded. They are definitely up there.
