I Started Something That I Couldn't Finish, that MIDI harmonica thing really annoys me, other than that I LOVE every Smiths song!

I think that naff MIDI stuff is meant to be a trumpet, actually, but it does sound pretty bad, I suppose...

Meat is Murder is my favourite too, then Strangeways then self-titled then Queen is Dead....probably the opposite way round to most people..

the album meat is murder is great.

but the song is dreadful! i appreciate he was trying to get across a very serious point, but I was just disappointed that he didn't make it a decent sounding song, even if I'm not a vegetarian. Yeah it is depressing...and I guess that's the point...but I don't listen to it and think 'oh that's such a dreadful thing', I just don't listen to it :S

I must admit I really don't like the tune to 'Ask' - although I do like the lyrics, especially the 'buck toothed girl from Luxembourg'

Well, I like MEAT IS MURDER (the song), I think that... yes, it is a little bit disturbing, but it has its own beauty, come on!

I don't like miserable lie.. the begining is good though...
I don't like vicar in a tutu either.

I'm sorry.. but I don't understand what's wrong with half a person'..
it's one of the best!

Queen is dead, i love it.. not boring at all

I really dislike covers, my first album was an american tribute cd (per accident).. with smiths songs covered by a bunch of untalented losers .. Way to loud and they shout constantly. I changed it for hatful <!--emo&:B-->Image<!--endemo-->

I don't really HATE any song of the smiths, just mentioned the ones I dislike the most.
You can discuss on this subject for so long but eventually it's just people's taste

the trouble with meat is murder is he has such strength of conviction about the issue, when it comes on live it's the one moment where if you're a meat eater you don't really feel part of it. That's how I felt the one time I saw Morrissey live. For the rest of the show there's that feeling of amazing togetherness, then that comes on and the meat eaters (most of the audience- even at a moz gig) stare somewhat shiftily at their shoes. Can still apreciate the song though.
